Building financial freedom through strategic planning and upskilling
Being financially healthy means having an emergency fund that can cover 6-12 months of expenses, being mindful of spending habits, and living within my means. It involves being aware of my current financial situation, sticking to a budget, and having freedom from worrying about unexpected expenses. I'm motivated by the freedom and flexibility to do what I want, when I want, without worrying about money—the ability to purchase convenience and comfort without sacrificing savings or incurring unnecessary debt.

Increase my income. With increasing inflation, I realize that there will be a time when even if you cut down expenses, you may not be able to have more savings due to inflation. I have decided to focus on increasing my income by upskilling—taking courses or attending workshops to improve my qualifications so that I can demand a higher salary. Additionally, I am exploring other streams of income such as starting a side hustle which can provide me with additional sources of income.
