Check food access in your neighborhood. Enter your zip code to see if your area has limited access to fresh, healthy food.
Our analyzer uses established food access research methodologies to estimate food desert risk in your area.
Measures proximity to supermarkets and large grocery stores. Low-income areas more than 1 mile (urban) or 10 miles (rural) from a store are considered low access.
Evaluates the presence of stores selling fresh produce, lean proteins, and whole grains. Areas with only convenience stores or fast food score lower.
Considers public transit availability and vehicle access rates. Limited transportation compounds food access challenges significantly.
