Building products that improve human well-being at scale. Leading FinMango's mission to transform financial health globally, with work featured by Google Health, WHO, and World Bank.
It began with a simple idea during discussions at Kent State University, sparked by two inspiring professors. While ideas often come and go, this one felt different—it could be something bigger.
My passion for finance and, yes, mangoes led to the birth of FinMango. What started as an energy bar company with a charitable foundation evolved into something extraordinary when the business failed but the foundation thrived. Sometimes our greatest successes emerge from unexpected places.
During a transformative visit to San Francisco with my friend Oscar, we reimagined FinMango as a force for improving financial health worldwide. Together with partners Steffan Dwarkasignh and Jeff Jensen, we built the non-profit and launched our first program in Canton, Ohio. From there, we expanded rapidly—reaching 13 countries with our Money Cycle curriculum, making financial well-being accessible to all.
Today, FinMango has impacted over 1 million people across 100+ countries, educating 75,000+ students about investing and retirement planning. Our research and data are now used by organizations like WHO, World Bank, and IMF to inform global financial health policy.
Our research and tools have been featured and used by Google Health, WHO, World Bank, Harvard Research, USAID, and Verily.
We're supporting the @WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and nonprofits like @GiveDirectly, @Finmango and @Kiva helping people with urgent financial needs during the crisis. Learn more about how we're responding → https://t.co/MIoKTZNnTz

Watch Scott discuss financial health equity and the urgent need for systemic change in how we approach financial wellness globally.
When not working on improving financial health globally, you'll find me on the tennis court (former NCAA athlete), playing basketball, or exploring new countries as a budget traveler. I've visited 39+ countries and continue to explore how technology can scale human well-being.
