International business student passionate about entrepreneurship and community impact

I'm an international business student passionate about entrepreneurship and making an impact in my community. I love volunteering and mentoring young people to impact their lives. As campus director for Hultprize at Africa Nazarene University, I invited speakers on financial literacy to help people understand money management. Seeing the struggles of middle and low-income families in my country motivates me to promote financial health and help communities navigate the current economy.

"Believe in the magic within you. Your potential is limitless, and your journey is a canvas of endless possibilities."

— Personal Philosophy

This embodies my approach to financial health and life. Our potential is limitless when we believe in ourselves and take courageous steps forward. Financial health gives us the tools to paint that canvas—to create the possibilities we dream of and help others do the same.

What does being financially healthy mean to you?

Being financially healthy means that you have your savings in place and in check and being able to afford something you would want and admire. It also means that you manage your finances well, make good financial decisions, have good financial stability, are able to budget, have emergency funds, have savings, are financially literate, and have financial goals.

What motivates your work in financial health?

In my country, I have seen lots of middle income and low income people. The state of their livelihood and how they manage their funds is really troublesome. Under my leadership as campus director for Hultprize at Africa Nazarene University, I made sure to invite speakers to talk on financial literacy to help people. But the livelihood of people is what motivates me to be financially healthy and to work on my future, especially with how the economy is of late.

Current Goal

Achieve the milestones I have set for myself as a student. I am motivated and disciplined and properly manage myself in order to help my nuclear family and see us through. I also want to be financially independent and I know it comes with a lot of risks, but the way I'm planning myself, I hope to see it through.
